Welcome to the internet home of Tucson and Southern Arizona's most up-to-date non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying the Blues.  We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization under the rules of the IRS.

The SOUTHERN ARIZONA BLUES HERITAGE FOUNDATION is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to creating an active and vital Blues and Heritage scene through promotion of live performances, education and raising awareness of the music and culture in southern Arizona.

Southern Arizona Blues Heritage Foundation sponsors a FREE family-friendly day-long Festival with national and regional artists in October 2008.

Artists: you are welcome to submit your promotional packages including CDs and photographs to SABHF, PO Box 42168, Tucson, AZ  85733-2168.  All applications received will be considered for the Blues Heritage Festival 2008.  This is a day event -- approximately 10am until 8pm.  If you are hired, you may be required to perform early in the day.  Thank you for your interest.

INT'L BLUES CHALLENGE
Memphis, Tennessee

February 1 and 2, 2008

2007 SABHF Blues Challenge winners, the band from Bisbee,
TRAINWRECK, will be representing Southern Arizona at this prestigious international contest, formerly known as the W. C. Handy awards.  The band is still fundraising to be able to bring all their members with them on this important trip.  Please check out their website for their appearances and also, if you feel like you can, to donate to their travel expenses.
